    My wife and I hired PUSH Productions (Mike Mahaney) to be the DJ and entertainment at our wedding in August of 2018. It was a pleasure working with him from start to finish. He was quick to talk details, conscious of our budget, and respectful of our wishes. He sat down with us to review our contract, came out to assess the venue, and delivered on our special day. PUSH was very professional. He was punctual, used quality equipment, collaborated well with the cello player we also hired, and kept our wedding venue clean; chords weren’t running all over the place and stuff wasn’t everywhere. He became part of the ceremony and created a friendly, celebratory atmosphere that complimented the occasion. He was also very fun! He is an authentic personality and sincerely enjoys people. He took our song requests and blended them with the vibes of our guests, knowing just which song to play and when. It was important that our guests were comfortable and engaged, and he helped accomplish this through a variety of songs and also singing! That’s right, Mike also sang songs which brought a whole other dynamic that was personable and fresh. We strongly recommend PUSH Productions for any event you may have in mind. He is down to earth, fun, organized, and he fulfills his promise, if not going above and beyond. Working with PUSH was worth every penny, for we gained so much more in return.

  • The McCorkle Fiesta

    I have known Mike and his family for years and was thrilled to find out that he was willing to DJ for my husband and I’s 25 wedding anniversary this summer. I had heard wonderful things about Mike from previous clients and friends and after multiple phone conversations and a meeting to design the event, I knew that our event would be spectacular. Mike was organized and thorough in the planning. We were asked to fill out forms that identified themes and musical requests. He demonstrated flexibility, professionalism and creativity in the design. He quickly understood my ideas and added some great ideas that we added to the party agenda. Our biggest concern was asking him to set up outside of our barn and taking a chance on the weather. He was fully prepared for whatever we or mother nature threw at him. Mike was fully set up and prepared for our event 90 minutes before the actual function. Dressed to the nines, he started the music early and it was nice to have a little pre-function going heading up to the main event. This was totally unanticipated, but greatly appreciated. Mike facilitated and ran the agenda for the rest of the party ensuring that all our planned activities were implemented. Mike maintained the tempo and energy of our 100+ guests for the next five hours. He adjusted the music to increase energy and participation and we were pleasantly surprised when Mike began to sing. To be honest, I wasn’t aware that it was Mike singing and not the true performer. He is really good. Lastly, the set up was fantastic. The equipment was high end, clean and safe. There wasn’t wires or equipment laying around; nothing to trip on or looked unsightly. Great speaker sound and lights that illuminated our dance floor/yard.Without any hesitation we would recommend Mike, aka DJ Push to perform for any future event.   • The fuchs-Kimple Wedding

    I hired DJ Push in 2019 to DJ both my wedding ceremony and reception. Mike was so communicative and professional leading up to the wedding, letting us fill out a music preference sheet and setting up a meeting to review the plans for the day. He had done many weddings and events before so was able to give great advice. The ceremony music was perfect, from the timing to the sound quality. At the reception, the dance floor was never empty! He had the entire crowd dancing (and even kept the token drunk uncle from bogarting the microphone for karaoke). My family is still talking about how much fun we had and how great the music was!   • The Holliday-Gregory Wedding

    Mike Mahaney was the DJ at my wedding July 2019. He did everything I had hoped for and more. Mike met with my husband and me before the day of our wedding and found out about our favorite songs, bands and artists. He added special things to the reception I hadn’t thought of. I appreciated how he reminded guests to sign the guest book and called up our pastor for a blessing before dinner was served. We played the “shoe game” and had every married couple dance. Mike called out years of marriage until the last couple standing was married for over 50 years!     The 884 Pub currently employs Mike Mahaney as our Karaoke Host/DJ. Mike came to us with his experience in the summer of 2023 inquiring about Karaoke at our Pub. Mike’s enthusiasm and passion for his craft was apparent from our first meeting, and I immediately hired him (before someone else did!) for our desired karaoke night. We immediately recognized his incredible capabilities to keep a crowd engaged and enjoying their time. Mike is professional while being fun. He is motivated, responsible, prompt, and honest. Mike arrives early every week to set up his own DJ booth, lights, speakers, and station. He is respectful of patrons in the bar while setting up and breaking down at the end of the night. Mike plays enticing and upbeat music to get the party started prior to karaoke kicking off. During his shows he ensures proper rotation, is willing to assist with backup vocals for anyone that requests it, all while encouraging the crowd to dance and be involved. In my 20 years in this industry, I have never met a host like Mike. It is a daily occurrence that a patron or another staff member expresses how fantastic Mike is and I whole heartedly agree.     Mike Mahaney has been a seasonal employee here at Tasty Waves Cantina for over 7 years and I could not be happier with his services. We brought him on to create a night of entertainment for our guests which included being a Host, MC, DJ and Entertainer. He has always been professional and a pleasure to work with but more importantly he has always made our guests feel welcome and showed them an amazing time. For us in particular he built our weekly event from the ground up with professional suggestions and advice as well as the training necessary to continue the event after his contract was over each season.
